Full description
Depart Belfast and travel by coach to The Dark Hedges, a beautiful avenue of beech trees planted by the Stuart family in the 18th century as an impressive feature of the driveway to their Gracehill Manor. Continue to the Giant's Causeway to marvel at 40,000 interlocking basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. Learn the legend of Finn, said to have built the causeway to cross the Irish Sea to fight a Scottish giant known as Benandonner. Next, make your way to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge that links the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede. Walk across the bridge for free, when it is open, or hike along the coast to get impressive views of Sheep Island and the Mull of Kintyre. Then, drive along the scenic coastal road to get a glimpse of beautiful towns, such as Ballycastle. Enjoy the scenic route before ending back in central Belfast. *Please note that all times are approximate. The locations might be visited in a different order, depends on traffic and weather.

Absolutely brilliant trip from start to finish. The driver turned up bang on time, the tour guide was friendly and very informative from the off. I cant fault this for the price at all. The one drawback of the trip was that a lot of Carrick a Rede was closed off once we had crossed the bridge, however this was due to a recent landslide so it isnt the fault of anybody involved in this trip.

A must do

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, pick up was prompt. Our guide Chloe was very knowledgeable and helpful she sang a fab Irish song along the way. Our driver Andrei was amazing such a comfortable smooth journey to Giants Causeway and rope bridge which both ere amazing. We have been on many tours in the world, and I must say this one was one of the very best in organisation giving us plenty of time to explore without being rushed. Overall a super experience not to be missed.

Overall good

I hope I can stay on the Giant’s Causeway for a while. First, it takes a while to walk in. Second, I hope I can have enough time for lunch. In addition, the driver is very friendly. When I get off the bus, I will hold a notebook and write. One-time assembly time
