  • From Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall Transfer with Pick-Up

    1. From Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall Transfer with Pick-Up

Explore the most well-known and preserved section of the Great Wall in Mutianyu. This section is a UNESCO heritage site has appeared in some Hollywood movies and has been climbed by former US President Barack Obama. Depart from Beijing at your hotel at around 7 AM with a shared pick-up or meet at the downtown station at around 8 AM. Head to Mutianyu with a convenient air-conditioned transfer. Arrive in Mutianyu at around 9-9:30 AM. Take amazing photos of the Mutianyu Wall from multiple angles - either down from the hill or up from the wall if you purchase the admission ticket option. Then, challenge yourself with a 5-6km hike from the bottom to the top of the highest station which was once a beacon. Or take an easier route with the cable car option so that you can ascend the later half directly. Enjoy around 3-3.5 hours to explore by yourself. Include a 10-dish authentic Chinese lunch...

Good timing of the visit as I did want to spend the whole day, comfortable bus and good communication. Thank you.

  • Beijing: Chaoyang Acrobatic Show with Optional Transfer

    2. Beijing: Chaoyang Acrobatic Show with Optional Transfer

The Beijing Acrobatic Show is an awesome spectacle perfect for kids and adults alike. The show starts at 5:30 PM in low season, and 7:00 PM in high season at the Chaoyang Theater, and lasts for around 60-minutes. Once the show starts, enjoy a magic and breathtaking night of Chinese acrobatics, including gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking and plate-spinning acts, and a lot more! If you choose, there is an option of private hotel pick-up and drop off from your hotel in Beijing city center.

I booked through 'Get your Guide' and the process was very simple. In Beijing, it was a smooth process to show the e-tickets at the ticket counter outside the theatre and obtain actual tickets. One can easily commute via the subway. Just know which exit (C) to get off at. Theatre is 75 mts to the left when you exit. The show was fantastic and should be included in one's itinerary whilst in Beijing.
