Didnt do the AV as spent time hiking out to highest point. Awesome views. Transport seamless. V easy pick up of ticket as we stepped off airport bus. Chose between rack railway and cable car oon pick up. Can use ticket any day so just watched the weather. Excellent communication via whatsapp for my query. Wil def use gyg again

Finding the departure station and picking up tickets at Pl. Catalunya takes a little getting used to, but it all worked out and Montserrat Monastery and its surroundings are beautiful. We also had nice weather so the day was perfect. You should plan at least 6 hours, preferably 8 hours, to explore a lot.
