Full description
Begin your tour with a drive to the famous hill of Montjuïc, site of the 1992 Olympic games and home to excellent views over the city. After a brief stop at the Catalunya National Art Museum (MNAC), make your way down to Plaça Espanya and past the Modernist buildings of the Eixample area. Next you will drive to the iconic Sagráda Familia, journeying up Passeig de Gracia – home to famous designer stores, and the setting for two of Barcelona’s most talked about Gaudí buildings: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. At the Sagrada familia you will be able to skip the queues thanks to our Fast Track entry tickets. Then head to the oldest part of Barcelona: the Barrio Gótico, which until the mid-19th century, was still surrounded by the medieval walls. Enjoy a stroll through the narrow, winding streets of mediaeval Barcelona. Visit the Jewish Quarter, the Royal palace, and the original 2,000-year-old Roman Temple as you stroll through historic Barcelona. Your morning tour will finish in the Born district, near to the Santa Maria del mar church.

Interesting tour with lots of information and historical background from the guide. I found the combination of a walking tour and an extended city tour by minibus to be very good. The half-day tour ended with a visit to the Sagrada Familia (although this is available as an option). There were headphones at the entrance, which connected you directly to the tour guide and not a standard version with an audio guide from tape. I really liked that too. In hindsight I would book the full day tour and not just the half day.

Great 1/2 day tour of Barcelona

This was a great tour to get introduced to Barcelona and Catalonia. Our guide was pationate and provide a great overview of the city and it's history. There were people of all ages on this small tour and he ensured everyone was involved and enjoying the trip. I would recommend this tour to those who have just arrived and want to get their bearings. Also to those who like a bit a history but don't want a dry lecture.

Great Tour - Great Guide - Great Value

The tour was very well organized. We arrived at each site a little bit before the crowds and were easily able to visit the sites. The tours were arranged so that we had good lighting to take photographs. We had plenty of time to explore the sites and the tour was free from tourist traps. Our guide Christian was very interesting and well informed. A+
