Wonderful views over the magnificent city of Barcelona. This trip starts up the Mountain and is a continuous ride, you can do a single or the return one. It is quite a quick journey but still think it’s worth doing for the views. We had a chair to ourselves which was good. Beware, there are no toilets at each end. We paid online but still had to queue to go in, a bit weird! We chose to get off before the end coming down at the middle, had a coffee at the lovely little trailer/cafe, so reasonable, only just over 3 euros for 2 coffees!.Then we were going to walk down to the harbour, good walkways but as we are both in our 70’s we chose to catch the other cable car down to the harbour on our way down to save the calf muscles. THERE ARE 2 CABLE CAR RIDES. This one is the more modern and has higher views, very very good.

Very good experience. Magnificent view. It's really one of the things to do in Barcelona when you come for the first time. We have this feeling of freedom but must not be dizzy. Arrival at the top you can visit the castle of Montjuic. Worth it only for the view and the ramparts. Besides, the castle is free for the disabled and there is an elevator to go up there.

Had the time ticket and everything worked well, the only thing we didn't know is that the fountains and the carriage exhibition are only open on weekends, but the price is the same during the week. Don't find the gardens that impressive as they are just big and have very long paths.
