Roberto had a wonderful passion and knowledge for history! We had a private tour! We had a fantastic time walking the old Gotic city. We wove our way from Gotic, to Reval to Born neighborhoods. We listened to fascinating history -all the points of interest! Great guided tour! 3 places for tapas! The first stop was Cafe De Born: authentic & delicious. We paired it w/local Catalan white wine. Then to the Picasso museum in the middle of our tour. Wonderful museum. We met back w/Roberto for more sites and walked all through the city center. Saw all the highlights! 2nd tapas place was Cuskal Etxea taberna. A classic pintxos /Basque cider houses. It was delicious as well but we paired it with Vermouth w/twist of orange- a Catalan summer drink. It was delicious! We saw the Catedrsl and the area where the Nazis bombed during WWII. Also saw Roman ruins and walked the oldest street in Barcelona! 3rd place Caelum Cafe! Yum! We had Cava and a dessert! Highly recommended tour! Ask for Roberto
