Since the beginning of the 1990s, the association has been working to save the authentic Karakachan dog and two other breeds of Karakachans (the sheep and the horse), all of which were on the brink of extinction during the socialist rule of Bulgaria.  Learn all about these lovely creatures: how they should be cared for and what makes them special. Hear about their history, their unique nature, and their breeding habits. Take part in a fun photo session with these furry creatures and snack on some delicious organic food from the region.
