Full description

After a morning pickup at your hotel, head to your first stop, a Batuan traditional Balinese house, located in the Gianyar regency. Follow your guide to a typical local home. Admire Balinese architecture – a compound with several buildings – and learn the importance of each part.

Then journey to the Tegallalang rice fields of Ubud, famous for its beautiful scenery of rice paddies and the traditional subak irrigation system. Get a stunning view of the rice terraces on the slopes of the hills across the valley, and enjoy the cool and breezy climate.

Next, visit a coffee plantation to learn about the famous luwak coffee. Discover how the farmers collect the still-intact beans from the forest floor and clean, roast, and grind them.

Study the entire process of making the unusual brew, and get a chance to try some other coffees, tea, and cocoa drinks.

Continue to Ubud Royal Palace (Puri Saren Ubud) and see one of the area's most prominent monuments. Constructed in traditional Balinese style, the palace has been well-preserved by Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel's heirs. Marvel at the gardens and the banyan tree that provides shelter from the heat.

Afterward, make your way to Sacred Monkey Forest and discover the home of around 200 monkeys in Ubud. Believed by the locals to be "God's Guard of the Dalem Agung Temple," the long-tailed macaques dwell in certain areas and can often be seen on the roads.

End your tour at Tanah Lot Temple, known for its enchanting seaside setting and sunset views. Look at the ancient Hindu shrine, perched in the crashing waves, and watch the sun melt over the horizon. Then, travel back to your hotel or accommodation.

The tour was really great! We had Nyoman as our driver/guide. He was so nice to us, informative and knowledgeble about the places we visited and Bali in general. He planned our stops with perfect timing and was able to avoid traffic on a busy Sunday by taking some side roads. He looked after us all the time making sure we were fine. We had an incredible day with him and definitely we recommend this tour, for sure one of the best ways to see Ubud and more. Thank you so much Nyoman!

This tour was amazing! Our driver and tour guide Eddie was excellent as he took us to see a traditional dance and temples where he was able to educate us about the beautiful culture. We had an awesome time at the monkey forest where Eddie made sure to get pictures of us with the monkeys. He then took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch where the food was divine. We went to the most stunning rice fields after and then did zip lining across which was one of the coolest things ive done. After we visited the the coffee plantations where we did coffee and tea tasting with a lovely view.

Nyoman was an amazing tour guide! He taught us about each place we went to and took many pictures. He made us feel so welcome in Ubud and answered any questions we had. I definitely recommend this sweet man as your next tour guide. I would give 10/5 stars if I could! Thank you Nyoman:)
