The 1-day tour to Kintamani was a fantastic experience! The hotel was great, the hike to Mt. Batur with our guide was excellent. Since we hiked in the rainy season we unfortunately did not see the sunrise, but this was expected, and it was still a nice hike. After the hike we relaxed in the hot-springs by the lake, which was the perfect way to relax after a relatively tough hike. We could have spent our entire day there! Later our driver took us to a waterfall, which was stunning. Jro was very kind and we had lots of interesting conversations along the ride. Highly recommend this tour and Jro! Our only "problem" was that it seemed like it was not well communicated to the driver which activities were included, but this was solved by informing the driver ourselves. It also resulted in us getting to do a tea- and coffee tasting that was not actually supposed to be included, so this "problem" wasn't actually a real problem.

This was an incredible experience! My guide, Komang, was great company on the drive to and from Kintamani. The hike itself was amazing! Heavy cloud cover meant I didn’t actually see the sunrise and it wasn’t as described, no brekkie before the hike and no jackets or poles provided either. That said, I went prepared as I don’t like using other peoples things. I’d highly recommend this experience!

This was a terrific activity, especially doing it on New Years Eve! Our driver, Comang, was great. He spoke good English and was incredibly helpful. Our guide Nyoman, was excellent as we walked, allowed us to walk at our own pace and was patient, supportive and encouraging. Our host at the Volcano Terrace was lovely, very friendly. The accommodation itself was very basic and the villas do not have a kitchenette however drinks can be purchased if you ask. Overall an excellent activity that is well worth the drive. Great service, amazing views and a unique activity to see in a new day.
