I booked this tour hoping to enjoy fresh air in the countryside. Happened to be the only participant. The next morning around 9 AM, Wayan (the driver) picked me up at my guesthouse and brought me to the office of 'Friends in Bali' to pick up Wayan (the tour guide) and an adapted bike for me. First stop, I had breakfast in a coffee plantation after a short introduction of the subject. Then, we drove to the view spot of Mt. Batur for a short explanation, followed by driving to our starting point. From there, it is a very pleasant biking experience downhill following Wayan, who ensures your security the few times crossing busy roads. You'll go mostly through small roads going from villages to villages, 1 or 2 (not so) challenging uphill moments, with a few stops (balinese school, balinese village and temple, balinese compound). You'll end your trip around 1.30 PM with lunch viewing rice terraces, before being dropped at your hotel. Very enjoyable!

This experience was so much fun. It was great riding through the villages and seeing the lovely homes with the temples. The driver and guide were very friendly and helpful. They made the trip fun and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our guide would take short breaks to tell us about the Balinese culture and traditions, it was interesting and we learnt a lot. The bike ride was easy, it was all downhill. We also stopped for breakfast at a coffee plantation, the coffee tastings were very nice; and lunch at a local cafe was good too. Thank you for a wonderful day.

We had a great bike ride among rice fields and beautiful views. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Balinese culture and was happy to tell us about everything from temples to feng shui in homes. Bring a backpack if you want to take things with you on the tour as there is no other way to store belongings (the van can take what you don't need at the moment).

Amazing experience riding through the Rice Terraces and the more countryside streets of Ubud. We also stopped at a local Balinese family’s home to see how they lived. Bike riding was mostly all downhill except for a few parts, but it was a super easy ride overall. Highly recommend.

I had a great time. The cycling was a fun way to explore the lava trails and also see a part of local Bali that I do not get to see from a car! Finishing off with a soak in hot spring bath and delicious lunch ensured I had the most satisfying afternoon siesta!!
