We were picked up on time and then drove to the Sunrise Spot. It was an incredible sunrise. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Then there was a brief stop at a local market. Our guide stopped for us every now and then when we wanted to take photos and responded to our every need. After the market it went to the temple and the rice terraces. The temple was great because we were there before the crowds so early in the morning and could watch the locals perform their rituals. The rice terraces afterwards were ok. It's totally overcrowded and bloggers are running around posing in the rice field. The monkey forest is more like a zoo, you don't necessarily have to have lived it. But rounded off the day.

"Widi": excellent guide, punctual, accommodating (change of program without problem), smiling, friendly, made photographer if necessary. we recommend it without any worries. Our day was pleasant, filled with many memories (little more for the Monkeys forest). Small fleece for the morning because it is very cool especially at the top of the mountain, and small shorts in the afternoon because it is very hot, and good walking shoes.

So my tour guide Gede Raka picked me up and it turned out that I was the only one who booked this day, but it took place and Gede was really friendly and taught me a lot about Balinese culture and religion. I'm glad I booked this tour. I had an eventful day.
