Round trip from Bali to Java was exhausting (about 7-8h). The meal with the locals is a very good idea, I really appreciated this concept. On the other hand, too many things to complain about for the hike. First, the ascent in the dark. We weren't all at the same level and I went ahead. My guides lost me and I found myself alone up to the top. Then the climb is very steep. If you are not a good hiker, don't try. Finally we could not go down to see the blue light. We only saw the lake. Advice: dress warmly and above all, bring good rain gear because I got sick due to the rain all along the ascent and the freezing wind once I got to the top.

the volcano is absolutely worth seeing. 5 points for the volcano. I was picked up on time. driver and guide on site were very nice, accommodation before the ascent in java wasn't that great, cheapest hole that stank of urine. but after the long journey I was tired enough to sleep there for 2 hours before it started around 1am. The equipment provided was in order. A headlamp would have been better, since going up and down in the dark has its pitfalls. A gas mask was good, you also need it on the flame. Guide took great pictures. all in all a memory for s life.can recommend company and tour.

(Compare it with a 5 km run at a speed of 10 km p/h) once you reach the top, a small descent for an amazingly cool experience. temperature in December about 8 degrees in the coldest places. hats gloves gas masks and flashlights were provided from the tour. the sulfur on the mountain is sometimes a bit unpleasant, but it is easy to breathe with a mask. 100% recommended but decid
