Baku Panoramic Night Tour

1. Baku Panoramic Night Tour

Enjoy a night tour of Baku with a private driver. Your personal guide will help you design the perfect itinerary of Baku's attractions and offer you insider tips on where to go and what to see in the capital. Visit the main attractions, and request stops to snap photos, grab a souvenir, or take a stroll around your favorite spots. You can go to Highland Park for panoramic views of Baku Bay from the highest point of the city. Drive to Flame Towers, a trio of skyscrapers - the Towers represent flames and construction of this impressive building complex was completed in 2012. During your night tour of Baki, you can also choose to visit Government House, the State Philharmonic Hall, the Mugam Center, or the Carpet Museum. You can admire the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by architect Zaha Hadid. Take a night stroll along Baku Boulevard, which runs parallel to Baku’s seafront, before you return to your hotel.

Baku: 3-Hour Private Night Tour (Yanardag & More)

2. Baku: 3-Hour Private Night Tour (Yanardag & More)

Be met at either your apartment in Baku, the airport or your hotel lobby. Then, you will proceed with your tour in a 2016 model Mazda SUV, a luxurious vehicle tailor-made to comfortably transport 4 persons. For a group of 5 to 8, you will use the Mercedes Vito minivan. The cars are spacious, impeccably clean and powered by a strong air-conditioner.  Once the sun goes down, that when the city of Baku truly dazzles. Baku is in the midst of a rather extensive and expensive beautification process. While a current visitor to town is likely to see fenced off parks and caravansaries and such as part of the project, the night lighting will help one forget it. The majority of historical buildings in the city center are targeted with upward flood lights. Normally, one might think something like that is a little tacky, if not completely tasteless but for Baku, it works. Everything from Maiden's Tower to the old city walls to museums to government buildings all have the electric lightning. Stop at Highland Park, Flame Towers. Walk around the park and take superb night photos of Baku. Then, drive through the city and stop over at Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. Your last stop will be Yanardag (burning mountain). The city is just an amazing thing to explore when it's dark.

Enjoy 1 glass of wine with 1 snack at each place (red, white, and pomegranate wine), then head on to the next. Enjoy the opportunity to discuss wine in general and wine in Azerbaijan.

This Night Tour was fantastic, my guide Ramin took me to Yanardag near Zabrat, showed me around the city, the Old City, the Highland Park, the Flames tower, the Alley of Martyrs, the famous Heydar Aliyev Center by Zaha Hadid. Along the way, he explained to me about the history and development of Azerbaijan and Baku, which was informative and interesting. I wasn't planning on visiting many places because of time constraint. However, I was so satisfied with Ramin and the tour and his flexible schedule that I ended up booking two more customized tours with him during my 1 week stay in Azerbaijan. On one tour, Ramin took me to Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, Mud Volcano, the Carpet Museum and Bibi-Heybat Mosque. On another tour, Ramin took me to Quba, a city next to Georgia, the landscape there was breathtaking, Ramin took me to get a taste of the must-try foods in Azerbaijan, Kutab, dolma to name a few. Ramin is an excellent guide, and Ramin will be my go-to guide in Azerbaijan :D

Optimal help and support on site, as well as from Germany with WhattsApp support. Our guide Rauf was highly motivated, entertaining and informative in perfect English. Telephone contact with him was also problem-free. There were only two of us, and we were able to enjoy the excursion with our guide beyond the booked time. Highly Recommended.

Very good experience
