When leaving the plane, there are National express terminals to buy tickets if you don't have any. With the GetYourGuide app I already had my ticket and I presented my QR Code to the driver, I didn't need to exchange it at the terminal or anything. The bus stops at several stops, it's up to you to see where you want to get off and for the return trip I bought my ticket on the National Express website and waited for the bus at the stop where I had stopped to go. Very convenient and inexpensive, but plan to be early because sometimes you can't find the right stop and you can miss the bus.

You really need the whole day in Versailles. The château (3-4 hours) and the garden (since the area is very large, it takes about 3 hours to see everything) are huge. I would recommend going there as early as possible and you should be able to walk. Since it is far from the garden, the summer residences are also waiting for you. Unfortunately, we only managed to see Marie Antoinette's summer house and garden on the right-hand side, as well as a few houses covered with reed.

Easy to find at the airport and Lady at the National Express counter also makes a reservation for the bus on our day of departure. She also printed it for us. The buses are on time and the drivers were very friendly. The drive from Stansted to London took us about 2 hours, because there are several stops in London and the last stop is Victoria Coach Station (that was our stop).

We had a great guide. Tim. He was fun and not a tight British fella. He gave some nice insides and backstories. Not all political correctness, but with a laughing eye.

Punctual and effective. Modern and cosy. Clean and not expensive at all.
