Try to go on a clear day and carry nice winter wear (wool cap, gloves and at least 1 jacket) in order to see more closely and with a front view. The cafe is a good place to sit if you are feeling cold, and there is a decent collection of coffee and drinks. However the food is only cold. We were totally pleasantly stunned with the experience. So many different types of whales and a non stop sighting trip. The commentator made the whole experience ethereal. The big boat is slower than a zodiac but is more convenient with the washrooms and indoor sitting areas. Thankfully these operators around Baie-Saint-Catherine and Tadoussac gladly share sighting information among themselves and hence all are at the right place at the right time.

It was an amazing adventure riding in the zodiac [the driver was very knowledgeable and friendly] on the Gulf of St Lawrence which leads to the Atlantic Ocean. We saw some Humpback whales! What a spectacular sight to see. An unforgettable trip. The bus ride there was also amazing with the wonderful mountain and water views. We enjoyed the bus trip didn't have to worry about the drive there. The bus driver and the guide were very knowledgeable and funny. We definitely recommend this Whale watching Excursion with Bus Transfer!

Guide was very knowledgeable. She spoke in both official languages. Lots of whales. Well organized.
