Since the Freiburger Schlossberg is located directly on the edge of Freiburg's old town and city center, the wine hike starts in Freiburg city center and ends at another point in Freiburg city center (old town). The start and end point are only a 3 minute walk away.

In the event that it is cold and even snowing in the vineyards, it is recommended to attend this tour well dressed and with firm shoes.
