Meet your skipper/guide and complete a short briefing before boarding the boat. Once on board, the skipper will start the engine, and you’ll be on your way. Depending on the weather conditions, the engine will be turned off, shortly after departing from the dock. With the engine off and the sails up, you’ll start sailing on Scharmützelsee. Along the way, your skipper will recall stories about the boat and the surrounding region. Learn about the flora and fauna that live around Scharmützelsee and the weather conditions the region experiences. Once on the lake, you’ll have the opportunity to go for a swim, simply ask the skipper, and they’ll organize a place to swim. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could have a go at steering the ship. With approximately 15-minutes left, the skipper will restart the engine, and you’ll head back to the starting point.
