    1. From Avignon: Half-Day Lavender Tour of Luberon

Discover the lavender fields in full bloom in the villages of Luberon on this half-day tour from Avignon.  Enjoy a scenic and picturesque drive through the countryside, full of beautiful purple fields that stretch as far as the eye can see. Your guide will organize many stops in the countryside to take pictures of the fields. Stop in Roussillon for some free time to wander through this typical provençal village. Indulge yourself here with a scoop of lavender ice cream. Stop for panoramic photos from the hilltop village of Gordes, listed as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages in France". Finally, take a quick photo stop at the Cisterian Senanque Abbey, surrounded by lavender fields.

Our tour guide, Joanna, was great! Very knowledgeable, not only on the topic of Lavender (which was what the tour was about) but in general about the area, with historical and modern facts provided with engaging conversation throughout the tour.

WQe thoroughly enjoyed our time and found out so much about the region, the types of grapes they are allowed to use, all the rules they have to follow etc.... The actual wineries we went to for tasting were absolutely top notch and delicious!! The information on the region was very informative and the knowledge that the guide shared on the history of the area and the winery was a wonderful bonus. i highly recommend this tour and company!!!

Very nice and extremely informative tour with a very experienced guide who knows the answer to all questions about the region and the wine. The tastings were wholesome and give a nice insight into one of the top wine regions in the world.
