This was the best wine tour we have been on - anywhere. At first, we were slightly disappointed to hear we'd only be going to three tastings but the day did not disappoint at all. Each stop was informative and we really felt like we learned a lot about CDP and the other villages as well as all that goes into making the wine. We had individualized focus on our group at each spot and you could tell that everyone knew and respected our guide (Nico). Lunch was also a delight - stunning views and delicious food.

Thierry is very knowledgeable on the Chateauneuf du Pape region. He will go the extra mile to make sure your wine tasting experience is matching with your palate. He also knows many of the wine makers and proprietors. This relationship allowed us to taste wines that are in the preproduction bottling process. The tour was definitely a highlight of our trip to France.

We had an excellent day on this tour! Nicholas picked us up from our hotel lobby and immediately made us feel at home. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and the region and we both learned a lot. One suggestion that we loved about another tour we did s to have bottled water and snacks in the transportation (we each had small charcuterie baskets on the other tour), which was great between wineries. We will definitely book another tour when we’re back in France.
