    Gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust and the Nazi concentration camps on this visit to one of the major historic sites: Auschwitz-Birkenau. You will be joined by a professional museum guide who will lead you through the exhibition at the historic Auschwitz Museum.

    Acquire a sense of the importance of this place, as you visit the remaining prison blocks, gas chambers, and crematorium buildings, before being transported to Birkenau, where you will see the remains of the railway ramp.

    Discover the tragic history of the largest concentration camp of the Holocaust, funded by the Nazi party in 1940. Learn how it became the final resting place for millions of people, mostly Jews, put to their death in the hideous gas chambers.

    During break, don't worry about missing your free time while stending in queue to eat something with premade lunch box including 2 x fresh sandwiches, apple, banana, dark chocolate wafer, orbit gum, still mineral water 0,5 l, tissue, paper bag. Sandwich can be with Ham (default) or vegetarian.

    Our time was changed from 7 AM to 11 AM for meeting our guide. Not a big deal because it was communicated the day before the visit. The issue came in when we were there at 11 and the tour bus did not arrive until after 11:30 to pick us up. That was a bit annoying. That said- the lunch was sufficient and is worth the small price to include it. The tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau was extraordinary. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered questions if anyone had any. She did walk FAST so it was tough to keep up sometimes, especially at Birkenau. It was a long, hot, emotionally draining day but it was absolutely worth the visit and the price paid. I would recommend and encourage anyone wanting to tour this piece of history to go ahead and book this tour. You won’t regret it.

    the selected schedule (11 a.m.) was changed the day before for 10:30 a.m. except that on D-Day, the minibus driver had not been informed so there was a hiccup from the start where I had to call the tour operator ( poland tour) so that we can take the minibus. The driver told us that the basic backpacks were too big so we had to leave them in the minibus (but on the spot we saw people who had their backpacks of the same size on them....) . ditto for shorts not allowed (people wore shorts). The meal consisted of 2 square sandwiches, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 small bottle of sparkling water, 1 chocolate wafer and 1 chewing gum. it was ok but not much time to eat between the end of auchwitz 1 visit and auchwitz 2 (birkenau). The official guide had an accent that was difficult to understand at times and seemed not to appreciate being asked questions... I think it depends on who you meet. a little disappointed

    Excellent, good starting point (central and without losing) they gave us a delicious box lunch of 2 apple banana sandwich's and water; You go by normal bus with more passengers to your destination, where you arrive in 1:30-2 hours, with the guide according to the language you chose in the app, they explain the whole place step by step, answer questions and never leave you alone. They return you to the place of departure
