Admittedly, the journey is a bit long. Yet the driver did not drag, it's just that there are 70km to go. But it's worth it and the coastal road is pleasant. On the bus, the guide took the opportunity to explain a lot of things to us (whether about mythology or the Athenian suburbs). We stayed there for an hour (but like all excursions planned at this time of day): just enough time to listen to the visit and take pictures at sunset. On the way back, they also asked us if we wanted to be dropped off at the same place. The guide was available and spoke regularly.

This sunset tour is a beautiful way to encounter this very special site and take a pause with a glorious sunset. Our guide, Stavros, was pitch-perfect with his balance of stories, information and observations - both throughout the drive out to the Cape and at the temple itself. There’s something very special about slowing down to acknowledge the turn of the earth at the day’s end, and to share that moment with a group of people from all over the world in this stunning landscape felt more special and powerful again.

The tour was wonderful but where we were dropped off when they could have dropped us off at Brown Acropol was a bit questionable considering we confirmed we were happy to have just been dropped off back at Brown Acropol. Thus, we had to walk a fair bit more. It was raining. More surprising was to catch up and see our tour guide being dropped off at Brown Acropol! That was so strange!
