Receive your ticket to your e-mail along with instructions to download your audio tour and go directly to the South Entrance, close to the Acropolis metro station. Scan your ticket at the ticket-validating machines, put on your headphones and listen to our professional, licensed guides present you with historical information and narrate original handpicked stories. You have as much time as you need. The entrance ticket includes also access to the Propylae, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, and Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens.     Great audio guide and value for money for this tour! Would highly recommend it. I would do something similar again BUT I did have an issue with the misinformation provided by GYG. The user experience was very confusing. After I downloaded the app, the instructions showed that I had to go to a certain venue near the Acropolis to exchange my voucher for a ticket before entering the site. I did just that - running around to find the travel office. Once I got there, I was told by personnel bthat I could just use the tickets that were already emailed to me digitally. This contrasted with the info on the app. As a result, I wasted 30 minutes of my time unnecessarily. So in case, you book it, just hold out for the email with your e-ticket attached for the acropolis and the museum. Then you can head directly to both the venues.

    Advanced tickets helped but does not get you to the front of the line. Tickets to the Acropolis worked fine but the tickets to the museum did not. We were told to go to the customer service line after waiting 15 minutes on the line to get in. The QR code did not work to get into the museum.

    The museum visit was disappointing in that there are no audio guides allowed due to Covid. But it is awesome. The museum closed at 4pm and the shop at 3.45. The acropolis was closed on the Sunday of our visit so very busy on the Monday. The ticket scanners failed so there was a hold up to get in
