Full description

Meet your licensed guide, an experienced archaeologist, and walk to the Acropolis, one of the most important collections of ancient buildings in the world. Learn about the history of the hilltop, with evidence of habitation stretching back over 6,000 years.

Explore the construction of its most famous buildings, including the venerable Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Porch of the Caryatids at the Erechtheion, and the gateway to the Propylaea.

As the sun sinks into the gulf, the twilight illuminates these ancient buildings in a timeless glow that conjures the spirit of 2,500 years of history.

Admire the Theater of Dionysus, the first theater of human civilization, and the healing Temple of Asclepius. Listen as your guide talks about the importance of this place to classical civilization in the western hemisphere.

Our tour was for 2h and this was absolutely fine (we didn’t expected this). The meeting point is not accurate set, you have to go to the road around the corner. You will receive a headset so you can easily listen to the guide. Our guide was “Koko” and he was friendly, relaxed and patient. He told us everything about the acropolis and the other ruins. It was a nice trip, thanks a lot and it was worth the money.

An incredibly nice experience with Mr. Stelios. A very nice and personable guide showed us all his knowledge in more than two hours planned, with a lot of stories on the side, different anecdotes and with the further details. We were extremely lucky because we practically had a private tour with him. It was very hot, but Mr. Stelios endured it very well and tirelessly passed on a lot of knowledge to us. He speaks perfect German because he grew up in Germany himself but has been living in Athens again for a while. Absolutely a recommendation, it couldn't have been better for us and that's why we recommend it to anyone who wants to really inquire about the Acropolis.

The tour was totally worth it for us. Due to only a few tourists, we had a private tour of the Acropolis and had super nice impressions. A big compliment to our guide Christina. She explained the story to us so clearly that we will never forget our stay on the Acropolis!
