    Caminito del Rey presents a stunning trekking adventure that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping and immerse you into some of Spain’s most magical scenery. Set off on a private hiking trip that follows a wooden walkway pinned to the walls of this magnificent gorge, with a licensed guide leading the way. Start the day at the Kiosko restaurant located in Ardales and get kitted out with your trekking gear while your guide shares fascinating insight into the history of the region. Enter the gorge and slowly make your way along the wooden pathway that's attached to the sheer rock walls. Continue past the Gaitanejos and Gaitanes gorges and by the Hoyo Valley, with plenty of time to stop and take in the views. Next, cross over an impressive hanging bridge. At the end of the trek, hop on a bus for the return trip from Alora to Ardales (start point).

    I got the "tickets" the day before, and paid for them at 80 euros each. Very expensive. It turned out to be a private tour. Someone had canceled the tour and they sold it to me, at the last minute. Guides and agencies do their business. There were no tickets available on the official site of El Caminito, I tried with several private agencies and they didn't sell me 4. When I had given up, and a few hours later, they contacted me to tell me that there were 4 available. I bought them without seeing the price, the truth.

    Caminito is a wonderful experience, a real must see. Breathtaking vistas, great hike ... Ian from Tours in Malaga was a great tour guide, as he is living in the area he really knows everything. Plus he was great with our kids too, we had a great day. It really worth to go for the private tour!

    Definitely exceptional excursion, suitable for everyone except those suffering from vertigo. The path is all very easy and smooth. The problem occurs at the exit, therefore at the end of the path, because there are still about 2 km to travel to get to the bus stop: dirt road, stony and uphill and that (as happened to us) if you have to do it under a scorching sun and we did it in mid-September, it gets quite tiring. Easily solved problem by using small means to retrieve visitors
