2. Antalya: Full-Day Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour & Lunch
Your full day excursion begins in the early morning when you’re picked up at your Antalya hotel and begin the drive to Pamukkale. After a lunch break you’ll visit the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of this mysterious Cotton Palace. The calcite-laden waters that had created this unreal landscape come from springs located in a 200-meter high cliff that overlooks the plain. Marvel at the mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and the series of terraced basins created by these waters. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the kings of Pergamon established the thermal spa of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site. The temples were significant trade centers for ancient Hierapolis. See the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, Roman baths, fountains and the agora. It was a good trip overall except no breakfast provision and a very ordinary or economical lunch despite paying a hefty price for the tour. Started early morning in a comfortable transport with calm and professional driver cum tour guide. The first stopover was at Salde Lake. We loved that mesmerising place. We then stopped for the lunch before visiting Hierapolis and Pamukkale cotton castle. The guide accompanied us at all major attractions there and explained everything well and gave tips for our convenience. At the end of the tour we were dropped at the hotel as per the committed time.
3. Viking Boat Tour on the Beautiful Bays of Kemer
Your program begins with a pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Kemer Marina, where you’ll board the Viking boat for a cruise to the ancient city of Phaselis. The duration of this activity is 6-8 hours, depending on your starting point. In the ancient Greek and Roman city you’ll find extensive ruins, including aqueducts, the agora, baths and a theater. The sheltered pebble beaches around the bays are delightful and the waters are shallow, calm and safe for swimming. After lunch you’ll head to Paradise Bay or the beautiful bay of Mehmet Ali Bükü for a swimming break. The final stop is at the Alaca Water, a pretty inlet and ideal location for another swimming and snorkeling break before returning.

There was a lot of music and we has onboard a bunch of people who kept the party going. overall it was a fun day :)

The scuba diving trip was fun, but the communication wasn’t really that great at some points (like we had to ask several times for information about pick-up time or when it was our turn to dive etc.)

We had an incredible experience on this tour. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable of the history of the country as well as different cultures that reside here. The time management allowed us to experience several different opportunities. The tour guide and our driver were very friendly and inclusive of everyone on the tour. We had enough time in each location for photos, conversations with locals, and tasting of local food. The Duden falls should be highlighted as a great way to begin our adventure. Ahmed shared the significance of the falls and made sure we knew where the best location was to take photos. Overall, the experience was magical. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Antalya. Thank you!
10. Antalya: Traditional Turkish Bath with Massages
Enjoy a 2-hour session at a Turkish bath (hamam) in Antalya and experience a traditional cleansing and relaxation method. It first became popular in Western Europe during the Victorian era and is a perfect activity if you’re looking for some calm and relaxation during your vacation. While similar to a sauna, the hamam dates back centuries and is more closely akin to Ancient Greek and Roman bathing practices. Just as prevalent today, a traditional hamam is seen not just as a time to cleanse the skin, but as a total experience in a special atmosphere. Relax in the sauna and steam room and revitalize your skin with a peeling and foam massage. Experience the benefits of a full body aromatherapy oil massage. Indulge in a body scrub and soap massage as you enjoy one of Turkey’s most unique traditions.
I really enjoyed the morning. The driver was very polite. The women at the Turkish Bath too. They were all really kind. The experience was really relaxing.
