poorly prepared / organized

In Mormugao (port) the guide was intercepted and massively intimidated by the local "taxi mafia". The driver and car then went "out of the way" and we were pushed by the local taxi drivers. The local police, whom we asked for help, did not care either. We should rather take a local taxi driver and not a "foreign" guide. Then we wouldn't have to worry about trouble. In conclusion, we drove with a local taxi. "Our Guide" came along and paid for the taxi. Unfortunately, he was so unsettled by the events that he was very silent during the tour. In conclusion, the organizer should have known that in Mormugao port the local "taxi mafia" determines what is going on. It will not be the first time that the agency has arranged a guide to Mormugao port. The tour itself was not very impressive because there is not much to see in and around Mormugao.
