El Caminito del Rey is a one-way route starting in Adales and ending in El Chorro. From the exit you can take a shuttle bus to the starting point
The trail is 4.8 miles (7.7 kilometers) long, but it is a simple walk and it is not necessary to be an athlete to complete it

Thrill your inner adventurer with a guided trek along the award-winning Caminito del Rey, a path stretching between El Chorro and the Gaitanes gorge, and built inside the rock more than 100 years ago for the workers of the El Chorro Hydroelectric Power Station.

With suspended walkways and glass observation decks, it’ll be hard not to be astounded by the panoramic views of the Guadalhorce River. Admire as well the intricate boardwalks at over 328 feet (100m) from the ground.

Soak in the beauty of its canyons and large valley as seen from above. Enjoy plenty of photo opportunities and capture the breathtaking scenery, rated as of the best views in the whole of Andalusia.

Along the route, hear about the real story behind the construction of this great work of engineering. Marvel at the original path and carved tunnels. Learn about the local flora, fauna, and geology from this unique natural environment.
