Our two fully-packed days begin in Jerusalem, as we head toward the Jordanian border. We cross at the King Hussein / Allenby border, and enter Jordan, driving through the Judean desert for about an hour. We continue towards Madaba, an ancient jordanian city, and go up to the viewpoint of Mount Nebo. Then we will have lunch. From here we will go to a Bedouin camp near Petra where you will enjoy Bedouin hospitality, including an Arab-style dinner and a comfortable bed for the night. Before going to sleep, sit beneath the clear desert skies and stargaze, as you drink a cup of delicious Bedouin tea.. On the second day we will tour Petra. One of the seven wonders of the world, and Jordan’s most treasured attraction, Petra is an unforgettable place. We will enter through the Siq, a narrow gorge, and tour the Treasury and Amphitheater with our guide who will explain the sites and history as you marvel at the beauty of each structure. Then you will have free time to continue individually as you wish: climb to the Royal Tombs, walk down the Roman Cardo, hike up to the Monastery, and explore the different sites. We will meet up for lunch in Wadi Musa before returning back to Jerusalem via the Allenby border crossing. This was a well organized trip, which put a lot of interesting things in each day, so that we had 3 fully packed days. We had the impression to get the most possible out of everything, and there were also a lot of nice meals and the very special venue of the tends near Petra. Best of all was the super well informed and friendly guide Ali, who provided us always with all the relevant background information, answered every question with attention and a deep knowledge and took care of every small and big problem. He encouraged us to ask always more in order to get a real understanding not only of the sites but also of Jordan and it’s people. He gave us a very direct approach to everything. Only thing not organized perfectly well was the journey back to Israel: we got the last meal at noon and then had a long stretch to the border and further to Jerusalem. With the bus arriving late at the border we were back only at 8:30 pm… One (additional?) night within Wadi Rum would be very nice!

I did a tour with Abraham Tour to Jordan- the 3 day option and we all had a blast. I did it in September 2022 I lucked out in having an amazong bunch of people in my group, our guide Wally (spelt I think Wa`hle or similar) was amazing. He is easily in my top 5 guides ever.... Abraham have terrible reviews from 2019 but newer reviews were amazing so I took a chance and decided it will be them. Also, theit itinery aligned with what I want to see. They were truly really good and my whole group had a lot of fun. I said I will go back to Jordan and I think partly because of the fun time I had. I spent a couple days wondering- 2 or 3 day tour. 3 day tour might be more expensive, but I do think you need a full day in Petra. We walked so much and went to the monastery and around. I think a couple hours are not enough. If you go for the 3 day one, the visa fee is lifted. Jordan is amazing and the Jordani guide and driver were terrific!

Informative guide and good food. Accomodation was simple but clean. The separate bathroom/shower area was also clean. Petra was amazing but the 4.5 hours there was a bit too short for me. There is so much to see that 6-8 hours at the site or even better, 2 separate days at the site would be even better. Also Abraham tours was a bit disorganized on our return to Israel and we had to wait about an hour at the border for them to get an additional bus to us as their original plan of combining two tours didn't quite work out. Having said that they did rectify the situation pretty quickly.

Sehr gut organisiert. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Übernachtung im Beduinencamp ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

Yes I love it. It’s a must if you love nature and in for something unique
