1. Amman: Petra, Wadi Rum, and Dead Sea 2-Day Tour

Explore some of Jordan's most spectacular sites on a 2-day, private tour for (1-7 people) from Amman.  Day 1: Amman - Petra Depart Amman and travel south to Petra. Founded by the Nabateans, Petra is considered one of the wonders of the world. Located 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra was carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago. It dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Upon arrival, walk the narrow path of the Siq to discover the main entrance to the city. At the end of the Siq, see the Treasury (al-Khazneh), which was believed to hold countless treasures. Continue to the monastery and Altar of Sacrifice. Then, transfer to Wadi Rum in the afternoon. Spend the night in a Bedouin camp and enjoy dinner and some night time activities. Day 2: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea After breakfast, drive to Wadi Rum by 4WD jeep. Wadi Rum ("Valley of the Moon") is where the legendary film "Lawrence of Arabia" was filmed. Marvel at the unique shape of the mountain as it rises from the rose-red sand of the desert. See towering cliffs of brownish, reddish and golden colors.  Then transfer to the Dead Sea, famous for the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Located 400 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is one of Jordan's most spectacular sites. Marvel at the calm waters glinting in the scorching sun. Legendary for its high concentration of salt and minerals, the Dead Sea is therapeutic and provides for a unique swimming experience. After some free time to swim, return to your hotel in Amman.

This was a well organized trip, which put a lot of interesting things in each day, so that we had 3 fully packed days. We had the impression to get the most possible out of everything, and there were also a lot of nice meals and the very special venue of the tends near Petra. Best of all was the super well informed and friendly guide Ali, who provided us always with all the relevant background information, answered every question with attention and a deep knowledge and took care of every small and big problem. He encouraged us to ask always more in order to get a real understanding not only of the sites but also of Jordan and it’s people. He gave us a very direct approach to everything. Only thing not organized perfectly well was the journey back to Israel: we got the last meal at noon and then had a long stretch to the border and further to Jerusalem. With the bus arriving late at the border we were back only at 8:30 pm… One (additional?) night within Wadi Rum would be very nice!

I did a tour with Abraham Tour to Jordan- the 3 day option and we all had a blast. I did it in September 2022 I lucked out in having an amazong bunch of people in my group, our guide Wally (spelt I think Wa`hle or similar) was amazing. He is easily in my top 5 guides ever.... Abraham have terrible reviews from 2019 but newer reviews were amazing so I took a chance and decided it will be them. Also, theit itinery aligned with what I want to see. They were truly really good and my whole group had a lot of fun. I said I will go back to Jordan and I think partly because of the fun time I had. I spent a couple days wondering- 2 or 3 day tour. 3 day tour might be more expensive, but I do think you need a full day in Petra. We walked so much and went to the monastery and around. I think a couple hours are not enough. If you go for the 3 day one, the visa fee is lifted. Jordan is amazing and the Jordani guide and driver were terrific!

Ahmed Habibi was our driver and tour guide for the two day tour, and I can easily say that he was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had (I’ve been to 65+ countries). This tour with Ahmed should be renamed to Instagramable Jordan, as he knows where and how to take all the best pictures! He was extremely knowledgeable and a very good driver. We loved our tour to Petra, and the camp in Wadi Rum was great. We got there just in time to see the sunset in the desert, where Ahmed showed us where to climb to get the best views of the sun coming down. The room in the camp was very clean, and the locally prepared food was delicious. Definitely a highlight for us! In the morning, we experienced a Jeep tour in the desert and saw some of the most notable view points. I highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Jordan. Not to be missed!

I'm so glad I did this as a private tour. Ahmad made each part exciting and knew how to time it so I could do the most in a short amount of time. Amazing, memorable trip. Each part was exciting. This tour packs in a lot. Ahmad knew the locals and made each part feel special. Even a moment where we shared a local coffee was such a great part of the experience. I will definitely be recommending this particular tour to friends.

Excellent Trip with an amazing host! This is definitely worth doing and the stay in Wadi Rum is an amazing experience, unlike anything you have done before. The driver is super helpful with all your questions and provides great insight into everywhere you go.
