Amed: Snorkeling Trip to the Japanese Shipwreck

1. Amed: Snorkeling Trip to the Japanese Shipwreck

Get picked up in the morning and travel to Lipah Beach, located on the East coast of Bali. Upon arrival board a traditional boat for a ride across crystal clear waters towards Amed Wreck, one of Bali’s greatest snorkel and dive sites.  See an abundance of colorful marine life including parrotfish, turtles and manta rays. The colorful coral growing across this sunken ship is a must-see opportunity.  Head to another impressive snorkel spot before the day ends and go to Vienna Beach. Marvel at this paradise with white sand and calm waters filled with unique marine life.  You will find a local restaurant where you can buy lunch at your own expense.  Travel back after a day full of snorkeling and fun.

East Bali: Snorkeling Day Trip to Amed

2. East Bali: Snorkeling Day Trip to Amed

Benefit from morning pick-up from your hotel and journey by air-conditioned bus to the dive center in Sanur. Continue to the coastal resort of Amed to collect your snorkeling gear, and board a traditional boat to embark on your snorkeling adventure. Amed is a small village clustered around a single road that circles the sheltered bay. This calm bay has little in the way of current and the snorkeling sites are reached directly from the beach. Amed or Jemeluk Bay is home to yet more of the incredibly diverse marine life that makes Bali snorkeling a real treat. Expect to find Parrot Fish, Angel Fish, Bat Fish, Moorish Idols, Snappers and so much more. You may even be lucky enough to see a Green Turtle or a Small Reef Shark. At the end of your snorkeling odyssey, head back to shore for a delicous lunch. Feast on Indonesian food and enjoy the laid-back vibe of Amed before getting dropped off at your hotel at the end of the day.

It was the all-around perfect tour. Julie provided us with lots of information and made sure we had only great experiences. The snorkeling was wonderful and the water temple is gorgeous. Julie guided us and explained the background, cultural and religious context. Finally we could relax on the beach.

Nice snorkeling trip

Punctual pickup. The reef is right on the beach. Nice reef with lots of fish. We were only 4 people in total, which was very pleasant. The guidin was therefore able to explain and show us a lot. We recommend.

Bello, our guide, was absolutely amazing and dedicated! Never short of anecdotes and advice to enhance our trip. Go for this activity that is worth the detour

Wow what an experience! Straight to the point...snorkeling, snorkeling, snorkeling! Spent at least 2.5 hours in the water.

Amazing sea life, beautiful clear waters. Lovely helpful driver. Great day out!
