    Shortly after leaving the dock you’ll pass by the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, in the shape of a ship, built for the Portuguese World Exhibition in 1940, and also the Torre de Belém, an iconic monument of Lisbon. Back along the north bank, you’ll have views of historic Lisbon, with the Terreiro do Paço and the Cais do Sodré and also the recently renovated waterfront and see the Museum of Electricity. On the south bank see the forts and prisons that were used during the old regime. You’ll be dazzled by the Ponte 25 de Abril, and have views of the Cristo Rei. Marvel at views of Lisbon you’ll only experience from a boat and make a toast to its famous light. The cruise includes a welcome drink of wine, beer, champagne or juice.

    In the morning go to see Belém, a massive outdoor monument praising the Discoveries period where the caravels once left for the New World. Here you will see the Torre de Belém sitting at the Tagus riverside, and the imposing Jerónimos Monastery, both elevated to World Heritage status by UNESCO, and two of the ‘7 Wonders of Portugal’ that have dominated this landscape for 500 years. Next, go to a new viewpoint in town, located beside the iconic bridge crossing the Tagus river. Watch the amazing views from the top and see all the coastline up to Cascais. When you come down, put some VR goggles on for an awesome virtual reality experience as a maintenance worker. Don’t look down! Everything Well organized. Nice drinks, friendly guides. They know a lot about the Lisbon history and were fluent English speakers. We had a great time. And it was fun to be able to lay down on the boat. They had blankets for after the sunset when it gets colder on the boat. Obrigado!
