Really worth it if you do not want a full excursion to Alcatraz or its booked. This was a great way to learn about the island, get some great views and in general learn more SF history. A good way for people with little kids too- to get a wonderful ( shorter) overview.

At first it was hectic cause I pay for my ticket days before I came to San Francisco and I had the barcode on my phone and I still had to wait in line and almost miss the boat I think there should be a better system if you already and don't have to wait in a long line but after that me and my girlfriend enjoy it . We was hoping to do a cruise just to Alcatraz but you don't have one

A nice trip on the harbour

We enjoyed the trip, and it was interesting to see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from the water. The boat was fine, but quite large and busy, so it was sometimes hard to hear the information being given. There was no where to buy water or refreshments on board, despite there being a stocked fridge and food counter - but we were told that the boat is loaned off Blue and Yellow Ferries so we could not purchase water. Otherwise a fun 90 minutes.
