What people are saying about Aguas Calientes

It saved a lot of time booking my ticket in advance. People line up to buy bus tickets at 3 and 5am to get an early morning ticket. Booking in advance was super easy and stress free. Just get on the bus and go. We booked our tickets 2.5 months in advance. For some reason our tickets did not come until I contacted the agent. They informed me that tickets are sent 3 days prior to the date of using the ticket. They arrived perfectly on time.

having tickets in advance is a salvation: I saw the queue to do otherwise and it reached the top of Calle Pachacutec (a few hundred meters). The advice is to get them here in advance

Normal line buses for the ascent, long lines, but they move quickly. I advise you to buy in advance (bus and entrance to Machu Picchu).

David was the best guide we ever had on all our travels. With his competence the bus trip was perfect.

The pickup location for the bus was conveniently located to the Peru train station
