    The Murray River Highlights tour departs Adelaide and travels to the mighty Murray River. On your arrival, board the Proud Mary and relax as you cruise the historic river enjoying the wildlife and surrounding scenery. Enjoy lunch on board the Proud Mary as you continue your journey along the river and gain insight into the river system and unique landscapes of the region. Upon disembarking, there will be free time to explore Mannum, before joining your tour along the river bank of the Murray River taking in spectacular views and stopping regularly for great photo opportunities, including the Mannum Lookout. Travel back to Adelaide via the delightful Adelaide Hills, stopping at Melba’s Chocolate Factory for afternoon tea (own expense), or wander through Woodside Cheese Wrights and pick up some treats to take home.

    Saw many interesting villages and beautiful, ever-changing countryside in the hills. Very relaxing and comfortable, slow cruise along the river with nice lunch. Saw lots of birdlife. Informative tour guide. Lovely to visit the chocolate and cheese factory. Plenty of time to spend in the historic town of Mannum and lovely spots for photos.

    Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Cruise was nice but not exciting. Enjoyed the chocolate factory and tasting at the whisky shop which wasn’t mentioned on the itinerary but is located between the chocolate and cheese factories. Overall a good day out but not great.

    Return journey to Adelaide we stopped at Chocolate Factory and cheese and wine tasting unfortunately cheese and wine not opened. We stopped for 45 minutes 20 minutes sitting in the coach waiting for 4 inconsiderate travellers that were just sitting outside talking.
