I really did enjoy this tour, though it was not exactly what I expected. It was a very hot day so we did more in the car than I had expected - I had thought it was more of a walking tour. But anyway, that wasn't a problem, and I can appreciate that the guide was trying to protect us from the heat. We lost a fair bit of time getting to Santa Teresa as the road our guide had intended to take there was closed - again, not at all his fault. He was good fun and very personable, and the group was small - only 4 of us. What I can't understand is why the price - advertised as 'from £35.62' - ended up being £59.30! Quite a leap. Was that because the group was so small?

The tour was nice and enjoyable. The site was pretty nice as well as the ride with Tram. Santa Teresa is a good place to go due to its plenty of different restaurantes and sight seen. Perhaps, I would like to spent a litte bit more time to spare time and get some drink and snack in those nice restaurants and feel better the surroundings. The guide tour was cool and explain very well.

The driver and tour guide was very prompt came on time to pick and drop us. The guide was very informative, proactive and very interesting to listen to he spoke in 3 languages. St.Theresa, Lapa and the steps was a really beautiful place to visit. Food and drink is not provided, however, the tour guide considered taking a break and let us get refreshments in between.

It was easy to book and the meeting point was very easily found. The tour itself was informative and fun. Our guide Camile was friendly and funny which made the walking tour a breeze. The highlight was the Ruins Park and Selarón Steps. The Ruins Park had magnificent views of Rio!

A fantastic trip (out of four) to leave on - good hillside views of the city; inspiring to hear story behind those beautiful Selarón steps; but, most importantly, benefited from a first class leader who was fun, knowledgeable, and a brilliant people guide.
