Expensive but guarantees that you don't wait in the hot sun.

While the tour guide was informative, she did not let us know that there was a whole other floor to explore and she didn't talk along the route to the Academia. One whole section was closed for the afternoon with no good reason and I felt that should have been mentioned beforehand. I was especially looking forward to taking my time in that hall of model sculptures since I had missed it on the previous tour a few years ago. It definitely pays to plan well ahead to get the best value for your tours.

Nice tour overall. Tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Some of the other artists were discussed but it would have been nice to hear a little bit more. The information on David was great. Address to the tour service was not accurate. Same street but different number so it was a block away which made it a bit stressful to find but everything else went smoothly. Great overall...we recommend it!

Such an educated and well informed tour guide meant that we didn’t just have pictures of this fine art, but could actually learn from it and appreciate it (and this is coming from somebody who previously had no understanding on the subject). It means I can now look at the Rape of Sabine Women or King David and actually appreciate the labours and imagination that went through the sculptors minds. Would highly recommend to any lover of culture and history!
