The lagoon is approximately 45 minutes from your hotel. Before getting there, the tour will make a stop at a Sea Turtle Conservation Camp where, after being explained about their mission to preserve this endangered species, you will proceed to an area inhabited by liberated baby turtles. On arrival at the lagoon, you will board a typical motorboat for a cruise of no less than one hour through the lagoon. This sanctuary is home to many species of exotic birds. You will see mangrove tunnels, virgin lagoons and a natural garden of wild flowers during the cruise. This is a rare opportunity to explore this type of tropical nature preserve. Begin your tour admiring the mango trees, the coconut and palm groves as well as the delicate water hyacinths floating along the shores. There is a bird sanctuary that is home to grey and white herons, pelicans, marabous, storks and more. When on a Cruise your friendly guide will be waiting for you right after the last security gate before you reach the street and next to the police station. Once on-board, head to a beautiful beach located about 30 minutes from the pier where you will have the opportunity to learn all the important facts about liberating a baby turtle into the Pacific Ocean. When staying in a Hotel you guide will look for you at the lobby of your resort, Air B&B property or Condominium. Kindly contact your local supplier to define exact time and place of pickup Then, your tour will head to the Chapel of Peace perched atop the pricey Las Brisas Hotel with the most exquisite view to the Bay of Acapulco. After a pick-up from your hotel or port, board your vehicle for a 45 minute to one hour drive to your horseback riding adventure outside of Acapulco and a baby turtle release session. Once on board, visit the Vallarino Turtle Camp, where you'll learn all about their mission in the camp which strives for the conservation and well-being of the sea turtles. You will then help release turtles into the ocean and then continue the tour to an Afro-Mexican Village that we will use as a base of operations to in time when it suits you well go horseback riding along a paradise-like deserted beach. The ride will be suitable for every level and you will receive a safety briefing and basic instructions. Then, set out on the trail through the jungle surroundings, passing coconut palms and other native plant and animal life along your journey. Ride for about 1 hour along the beach before returning to the base. If you come to Acapulco and you do not see the divers, you did not come to Acapulco. Learn about how this great spectacle was originated. You will be able to see at least 5 divers jumping from different heights and at least one from the top of a 136 feet (~41 meters) high cliff, the others will be doing the dive from different altitudes. Such a wonderful experience! Our guide was punctual and knowledgeable. The horses were very gentle. The turtles were heart warming. The crocodiles were amazing! The lunch at Caleta beach was fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was punctual, friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately due to Covid, we had to skip the Fort. But I don’t think any of my group noticed. It was a great experience and a wonderful time was had by all. Highly recommend!!
