Full description
Rise early to travel the short distance to a desert location overlooking Uluru. Your driver/guide will provide insights and the background to the art installation. Under the cover of darkness, wander through the pathways that encompass the 50,000 spheres of light in the desert, before making your way up the hill to the Dune Top viewing area. Watch the amazing transformation of colours and life as the desert awakens, while enjoying tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Then as the first rays of sunlight creep across the desert sky, gaze in awe as the sun rises in the distance behind Uluru, flooding the landscape, including Kata Tjuta behind you, with light. You’ll have an incredible view through stunning desert landscape as the sun rises over the Red Centre. As the natural light brightens the landscape, the Field of Light will dim for the day. Capture some amazing photos from this unique raised location, which allows you to view both Uluru and Kata Tjuta in all their natural glory.

Great tour, good value for money. Big comfy bus ride to the site, Field of Lights a must see. Nature turned on a perfect sunrise for us. Nice amount of time to enjoy both tge lights and the colours of the rock and sky. Only improvement could be nice home baked cookies instead of those Arnotts packets.

It was a breathtaking experience. The Field of Light could be admired in peace and quiet and photos could be taken without time pressure. In the beginning it was a huge crowd, but it was well distributed when walking through the lighting system. Uluru and Kata Tjuta were clearly visible from the viewpoint. You could watch the sunrise. The guides were very friendly and took group pictures, even without asking. A minus point because of the somewhat cheap food. You could do that a little nicer.

Must have on Uluru

The tour itself was well organized - the planning was rather less. The start was defined at 6:00 a.m. shortly beforehand we received an email (although you don't always have a network) that it was going to start at 4:20 am ... but then everything worked well, the impressions were wonderful, the guides were friendly - overall, that's my opinion the best tour at Ayers Rock !!! So definitely do it! Note: These prices are very high - generally with everything at Ayers Rock. You should know that beforehand, otherwise you will be disappointed afterwards. I didn't think it was ok: we would have loved to do the Segeay tour. A total of four tours for almost A $ 1,100. Since it was close to departure, we asked if we would be driven to the airport quickly after the 5 minute tour. A $ 20 per person. We then did without the entire tour ...
