Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Visit the coconut house or “Casa del Coco” to learn how coconut oil is produced and taste exotic Caribbean fruits, roasted coffee, and cacao. Interact in close proximity with friendly squirrel monkeys for the next 45 minutes. These charming and intelligent monkeys have been trained by a Canadian couple with over 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo teaching monkeys how to interact with humans. The tour is based on 5 acres of beautiful land that monkeys have made their home. They will descend from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hands. They also love to pose for the cameras, especially for selfies.

Superb experience, Pick up at 7:00 am sharp in the morning in front of our resort. Franklin was our guide. He is fluent in French English Spanish. After picking up the other participants in other hotels, head to the coffee and cocoa plantation in the mountains. Our daughters were delighted, they got to taste pure cocoa and see how REAL chocolate is made. Then the same goes for the coffee and it's time to feed the little monkeys. You spend 15/20 minutes at the end with these little beasts that go over your head. A beautiful experience that none of us regrets having had. Thank you to the guide and the driver for even dropping us off in a store to buy Dominican rum at a much more reasonable price than in a hotel.

Monkeys are cute. The park is clean and pretty. The visit to the coffee and cocoa factory is quite interesting. We are offered at the end to buy some specialties but not aggressively which is appreciable. Photos are relatively expensive $ 10 each. However the explanations are all given in English. Better to have some basics to fully enjoy the experience. I didn't really enjoy the safari bus ride (quite uncomfortable)

Good experience, the monkeys were super cute and the tennis shoes were on top all the time. Just put the downside that the ticket itself is already expensive so that the guides also ask for tips and if you want to buy some photos they are 10 dollars each ...
