The meeting point is easy to find , exactly as described. I visited at rhe end of august -a very crowded period so there was no skip the line.. We stood 8n line with our guide to see the baptistery and after the church so the visiting tour inside the locatiin was very short. Maybe if I have been choosing the non booking method ( wich is cheeper of course) I could see and understand more. Anyway, the monumets are amazing , a realy joyfull experience. Our guide was very professional ,she appologized all the time and tried to fill the waiting gaps with a lot of information. We were a mixed group of french and english speaking people and she managed to tell everithing in both languages

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Giacomo. We would highly recommend this small-group tour. Without an expert guide, we would have been wandering around without learning about the symbolism and themes depicted throughout. This tour also includes the climb to the top of the Duomo. Once you make it up there, the views are stunning.

It was very easy to find the meeting point at the front of the cathedral. Our group ended up being just the two of us in our party since no one else showed up, so we essentially had a private tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the area, and shared many anecdotes and fun facts throughout the tour. We were right on schedule and arrived to climb the dome early, which was where our guide dropped us off once we entered. The climb was pretty tough, a bit over 450 steep steps in cramped spaces (wouldn’t recommend if you're uncomfortable with tight spaces or have health issues) but the views from the top of the dome were absolutely worth it. If you’re able to - do it.
