At first I have to admit I was a bit skeptical because the driver of the tour bus were just speaking Spanish for 15 minutes, telling the participants of the day’s schedule. When I asked him to give me the information in English, he told me he didn’t speak English at all. But when arriving to the vineyard I was hosted by Alejandra from the vineyard staff. I was the only English speaking person in the tour so it ended up I had a private tour by Alejandra. It was great! I highly recommend the tour at the vineyard. You learn about the process making vine and you get to taste some.

Interesting excursion, we learn about the different varieties of grapes produced & harvested in the estate as well as the wines that are made from them. the small tasting with the souvenir glass pleasantly completes the visit with explanations on the advice for drinking each wine. Finally the visit of the cellars and the projection in the dark mark the end of this visit. Too bad, however, that you can't walk around the estate as you please, but that's also the reason why it is so well preserved.

The visit was very interesting. The guide from Concha y Toro took the time to explain everything about each place at the site, including the flavors of the wines we tasted, left us enough time at each place to take pictures and we got a free Concha y Toro glass which makes a nice memory. I also liked the driver from the agency who was friendly and told of lot of things about Santiago. On the downside: I booked a tour in English and ended up registered in a tour in Portuguese…. To the agency: please be careful with the organisation. Finally, I could join a tour in Spanish which was ok for me (I don't know if they run tours in English).
