Our guide, Shofta (?sp?) was very knowledgeable about the area and the history surrounding it. Occasionally he went off on tangents, which I found equally interesting. It was a very engaging tour, and fortunately I felt we did not have to tramp all over the city. My only regret is that the Witch House is apparently the only surviving structure from that era- but that was nothing anyone could do anything about. Very enjoyable - the 90 min passed very quickly!

We did another tour and this was so much better. The guide was extremely well prepared and began the presentation with King Henry VIII to put it all in context. He explained the cultural restrictions and the literal belief in the bible and in the devil. He stressed that the “girls” involved were indeed children who had been intimidated by the adults in charge. And he explained how the hysteria came to an end. So very well done.

the tour was great. An incredible amount was explained which made everything a little more tangible. the lady who did the tour with us was just great. She explained everything so well. If she had done another tour today, we would have done another with her.
