Our tour guide, Aarre was excellent - really knowledgable about the history of the area and Amsterdam as a whole. Really flexible and accommodating for history buffs, coffeeshop and non-coffeeshop goers and really respectful to the girls working in the windows. Would recommend this tour and Aarre as a guide!

It was a quite short and every knowledge tour! Our guide Aaron was really knowledgeable and funny! He provided us with the general information and facts about Amsterdam and the Netherlands and later on showed us the Red Light District and in precise details told us the whole history behind the district and the coffee shops, about sex workers working conditions and the locals living in this area! I would definitely recommend this tour if it’s your first time in Amsterdam ever!

It was an interesting tour that starts outside of the red light district and as you walk towards that area of Amsterdam you are given a lot of information about the history of the city. We were glad that we did the tour on a week night as we were told the RLD gets pretty packed and crazy on the weekends. We wanted to learn about the history of the area with a guide instead of just wandering along on our own. So glad we did it with a guide as we don't think we would have ventured over to see what it was like on our own.
