Full description

Meet your guide and enter the building with a skip-the-line ticket. Explore the exhibitions dedicated exclusively to ancient Egyptian culture and art. Take a journey through time as the displays show items in chronological order, from the 4th-century BC to the 3rd-century AD.

Together with your guide, discover the mysterious and magical side of the Egyptian Empire on this gripping tour. See the spectacular Tomb of Kha, a tomb builder to the pharaohs, which dates to 3,500 BC.

Admire the sarcophagi, statues, sundries, and furniture, as well as astonishingly well-preserved items such as salted meat and a pottery bowl with the remains of tamarind and grapes. Next, head to the Drovetti Collection of papyrus sheets, which is considered by some as the most important in the world.

Finally, visit the Ellesija Temple, a rock-hewn temple that is more than 3,500-years-old. Learn about how the temple was built for Pharaoh Tuthmosis III and was saved from Nile flooding before it was moved to Italy in 1966.

During the visit, feel free to take a break at the museum cafeteria and at the end don't forget to stop at the marvelous souvenir shop.

Beautiful experience! The guide was very helpful and friendly. The two hours of the visit literally flew by! At the meeting point we discovered that we would share the tour with a small family (parents + child): it was nice to be able to share this experience with other people and it was even more pleasant at the end of the visit to realize the good feeling that had been created among all in such a short time! Super recommended!

Ten and praise for this splendid museum that allows you to look into the past through a well-thought-out path and thanks to the countless finds that in a moment project into an era that is over 5000 years from ours. If then to the beauty of the exhibited repertoire we add the competence, kindness, availability of a good guide, everything becomes impeccable. Our guide, Marina, has not only translated objects that have suddenly come to life, but has allowed us to savor the fears, the vanities and the amazing imagination of an extraordinary civilization. Thank you

It was a real pleasure. We often visit museums and we know the difference between "do it yourself" and being guided in the visit by a competent guide. Our guide "Laura" allowed us to fully exploit the potential of this extraordinary Museum and also transmitted her enthusiasm along the entire route of the visit. In the end, the involvement in the narration was truly the most beautiful surprise. of our 2 days in Turin. Bruno and Teresa.
