Glenn arrived promptly at easy to find start point. The time of tour was chosen to suit us which was brilliant as we had to travel to Derry. Glenn was a very friendly, affable guide. As tour went on it became very clear that he was very knowledgeably and aporoachable. Any questions answered fully. The tour itself covers a small area so is good even for people with limited mobility. I have a back problem and found no issues with the tour. Myself and husband thoroughly enjoyed the tour although the history was tragic for those living in this area at the time. Can't recommend highly enough

The Bogside Murals and Bloody Sunday tour was both informative and moving. If you want to fully understand the underlying causes of The Troubles and why Northern Ireland was plunged into conflict for so long then this tour will help explain it. As a former British soldier who served in NI during The Troubles in the eighties I was only ever able to view things from one side. I'd never even talked to someone on the republican side, or been to the Bogside, so what did I really know? It took this tour and a subsequent visit to the Free Derry Museum to allow me to gain a deeper understanding. Our guide Gleann took us around the Bogside explaining the background and context to numerous slogans, murals and memorials all within an incredibly small area. When we learnt that Gleann had suffered personal loss during the terrible events of Bloody Sunday his dignity and lack of rancour were amazing. The Bogside has a story to tell and you won't understand The Troubles unless you come to hear it.

Gleann Doherty's tour is well worthy of a listen, an educated historian from University of Ulster who tells it as it is and without a hint of bigotry. He and his family have lived the Troubles. As an Ulster Protestant, I urge anyone who wants to grapple with the Troubles to walk the Bloody Sunday tour to understand this pivotal point with greater clarity of the facts and the suffering. It was a privilege to be in Gleann's company.
