Full description
Head into the dense jungles of the Yucatán as you begin this 12-hour program. Stop at the Hubiku cenote, a cavernous freshwater pool in a light-filled limestone cave and enjoy a swim. Dry off over a buffet lunch of typical Mayan dishes and then hop back on the bus for the last leg of the drive to Chichén Itzá. This dense and sprawling archaeological site features excavated ruins and well-preserved temples. The final stop is the quiet colonial city of Valladolid, where the pastel walls of shops and restaurants provide a colorful backdrop for photos.

Enjoyed the experience overall, it’s just a really long day. Probably about 3 hours of the day includes picking everyone up from their hotels and dropping them off. They really do try their hardest to make it as seamless as possible - having smaller vans pick people up in different locations that then bring them to the larger tour bus. I think this experience would be nicer with smaller group sizes. But it was a nice day, just be prepared for an extremely long one. We got back to our hotel in Playa del Carmen after 8pm. Worth it to see and experience Chichen Itza. Guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would have probably appreciated a little less trying to sell us additional products/souvenirs while on the tour.

After reading some of the reviews we were unsure of what to expect, however, we need not have worried, the tour was fantastic. We were picked up at our hotel, the coach was exceptionally comfortable - lots of leg room (I’m 6’1”). The tour guide (Samuel) was excellent, very informative with just the right amount of content. The buffet lunch at the underground lake was of very good quality and you could take as much or as little as you wanted. When we arrived we were the only people at the lake so had it to ourselves!! Chichen Itzá was amazing. Our guide sought an additional English speaking guide, who was very engaging, to help as our group was a mix of Spanish and English. The day is a long day (12 hours) but this is what you’re paying for. The Guide plans plenty of rest breaks to ensure you have washrooms and the ability to stretch your legs. Can’t recommend this trip enough.

Nice tour, good guide. We visited the Cenote Hubiku very beautiful, then we had lunch in the same place, we moved to Chichén Itzá were they explained about the culture, and after that we walked around 25min in Valladolid. To consider: the tour takes several hours in the bus just by picking up people from hotels.
