Overall rating

An excellent day trip from Madrid. Yes, this is a long day. But, overall well-balanced with enough time for sightseeing and time to relax in the vehicle. Both Ávila and Salamanca are lovely cities. (And I’ve been to Segovia and Toledo which are more common day trips from Madrid and enjoyed Ávila and Salamanca more.) Our driver and both city guides were wonderful. Highest ratings—from highly experienced world travelers (more than 60 counties and all 7 continents). First time we used Get Your Guide and we will be back.

I recommend it. I travelled with my family to Madrid and it was a lovely activity to do together and see the city.

So convenient to see from his and then hop off if interested. Great for a rainy day as well!

I thought amazing. It is an experience to know everything in a single day.

Great way to get around town without constantly hiring taxis.
