Very interesting activity if you want to know the history of the country. For purchases I advise you to pay in cash. I had a bad experience at one of the tourist sites (Los Tres Ojos caves). I wanted to buy some small souvenirs, the seller inflated the prices (telling me the total in pesos) when I asked for the conversation in $, it was worth 172 $ (For 3 necklaces and two mini statuses). I declined saying I didn't think it was going to be over $ 30. The seller told me Ok, I will do this for $ 30, so I paid by card in pesos (seeing my bank statement I had 128 euros). A word of advice, be firm but not harsh. They only live on tips and selling these products. But be careful and do the math yourself. Before arriving on site the guide tells you the price of the pesos, make a cross product if you do not have internet. 1 euro = 64 pesos
This day trip was great from start to finish. Easy meeting place for pick up. Our tour guide was Natanael. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was educated in Dominican History so he added that dimension to his information. Samana is a beautiful place.I really liked the panoramic views during the bus ride to Miches and had plenty of time to enjoy the boat ride to Cayo Levantado and Samana bay,the horseback ride to El Limon waterfalls and a delicious Dominican lunch. Very well organized and clean. This was one of the best excursions I have ever experienced. I would recommend this tour and tour operator.
The very friendly guides helped us at all times inside and outside the boats ... good service..good food..the catamaran dancers very nice ... the sailors ... all in general..the drivers of the transfers .. We just need a little more time in Altos de Chavón. Highly recommended the excursion with them
Great calm guide, I saw lot of nature of Dom.rep. Bring good shoes water resist, somewhere is mud to cross.
Bring goggles and a bandanana. It gets dusty! Great View. Great ride!
