Bali: Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Natural Hot Spring

1. Bali: Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Natural Hot Spring

Hike up the stunning Mount Batur on an early sunrise trek to its summit. Follow your guide up the mountain, enjoying a well-earned breakfast at the top while you watch the brilliant colors of the sunrise. Top off your active morning with a soak in a natural hot spring and an invigorating coffee plantation visit. Before and after your hike, relax in the Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. Meet directly at the location or get an early morning pickup from your hotel in Bali (depending on the option selected), in time to watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur. Depart at the time you selected (also depending on the location of your hotel), and then journey towards the active volcano near the village of Kintamani. Upon arrival at Mount Batur, get a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. All the guides are locals with experience climbing Mount Batur since they were children. Benefit from their extensive knowledge and passion for the region before you embark on your 1.5-hour trek to the highest volcanic crater in Bali in time to watch the sunrise. Upon arrival at the top, enjoy breakfast and take in the amazing views of the surrounding area during the break of the day. After sunrise, enjoy some time to walk around the crater of the volcano before crossing a hill of lava and black sand. Trek back down the mountain, and then soothe away your aches and pains at a natural hot spring. If you choose to meet at Mt Batur Lounge, you'll get dropped off at the Mt Batur Lounge. From Bali: Swim with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida

2. From Bali: Swim with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida

Head for the island of Nusa Penida and embark on a snorkeling adventure. Take advantage of 3 different stops to swim with Manta Rays, enjoy lunch on the beach, then spend the afternoon exploring the mangrove forest. Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in selected areas of Bali or wait directly at the ferry office (depending on the option selected), and then journey to Nusa Penida, located 20 kilometers off the southeast coast. The largest of Bali's 3 sister islands (Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Ceningan), Nusa Penida is much less developed and remains home to abundant and pristine nature. Marvel at the dramatic landscape and steep cliffs along the coast as you make your way to some of the island's best snorkel sites. Upon arrival at the protected bay of Manta Bay, discover an ocean rich with plankton that attracts beautiful reef manta rays that can sometimes measure up to an impressive 4 or 5 meters in wing span. Go to 3 of the best snorkel sites on the island, including popular spots (depending on conditions) such as Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh, and Gamat Bay. As the strong swells of the Indian Ocean can impact conditions, the situation will be carefully monitored to take you to where it is safe to swim with the rays less than 1.5 meters from the surface of the sea. If conditions are not suitable, your snorkeling itinerary will be adjusted accordingly, as your safety is always the number one priority. Following your magical snorkeling adventure, break for a delicious beachside lunch at Paradise Beach on Nusa Lembongan. The lunch is served as an Indonesian food buffet. Then, get the chance to explore the mangrove forest in the afternoon by kayak, stand-up paddle board, or private gondola.

Had a great dive trip here. Parented booked easy enough. Paid up in full on arrival. We go lucky and had a private diving trip in the end just us and a dive master. LocTed in the south east of the island. Easy access I’d your local. We had to drive 45-1 hour via moped from Ubud. Then 1 hour they drove us to the Mir north western coast port to start the dive. Headed off in a small boat. Every is set up for us, as it’s how locals earn pocket, so that was very kind. I felt bad for being lazy. Two dives on a gorgeous day. Dive master gave us a quick briefing before each dive. The view was clear and beautiful, for to see some lovely sites. Saw reef sharks which was fun. We both had. A great time and it was well organised by our guide. A spot do lunch at a set restaurant, which had a very limited menu, BUT the food was great so no complaints: cheeky beer before heading back to the dive site. We’ll worth it, and a must do in Bali. For me, the only reason to go to Bali is dive! Do it!

Amazing day! Review of Hire Bali Driver Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile we had an amazing day on this trip! Our tour guide was Gede and he was the best!!! He picked us up from our hotel and on the way to Ubud he told us about the plan for the day and asked if there was anything else that we’d like to do additionally. He took us to a jewellery village where I got myself a beautiful, handmade silver ring. Wherever we went throughout the day, he was always very knowledgeable, was telling us a lot about the history of the places and always had answers to our questions. He had a great sense of humour, was telling jokes and kept us entertained even when we were getting tired. He took loads of amazing pictures of us in the best spots! We felt like travelling with a friend, not a guide - we were always taken care of and supported. I would recommend this trip with Gede to anybody, whether a solo traveller, a family or a group of friends! Thank you Gede!

Excellent day out. Picked up early from Ubud as it was about a 2 hour drive to the waterfalls. Arriving early meant we were the only ones there and had the waterfalls to ourselves. More people were arriving as we were leaving but by no means busy. The waterfalls were some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. We got the option to enter from the front and see 2 waterfalls or from the back and see 3 waterfalls. You have to pay for entry to the falls we entered from the so we could swim. The back way also meant paying twice due to ownership being divided between 2 separate villages. Swimming under the hidden waterfall near Sekumpbal was an amazing experience. The water temple was beautiful. We were lucky enough to see a procession as it was close to the Balinese day of celebration. We had a driver called Widi who was fantastic, spoke good English, very helpful and led us through the whole day.

Loved this whole experience. Pick up advice was excellent and accurate was on time. Walk/climb up Mt Batur was hard work and worth doing but is not for anyone not with an above average fitness. I was lucky to get a trail bike ride half way up to the top (an extra A$35) or I would not have made it. Be warned :-) Hot springs were fun and stop at the coffee "shop" was good bit would like tio have been able to buy a coffee to drink. Tour Guide (Mr Boring :-)) was wonderful and very helpful and informative.

Nyoman picked us up in time and adjusting to our personal requirements. Snorkling experience was amazing. The driver also acted as your guide. He was curtious and knowledgable of the local areas. Due to weather he gave us other options instead of Canyoning. He waited patiently to our schedule. The lunch place at warrung was really good.
