As we approached the Reina Sofia the external elevator stood out and the Museum gave out a really modern feel. Our visit was on the 1st November and as luck would have it there was a lecture on Guernica. Our guide, Raoul, was delightful, warm and made the whole history surrounding the painting fascinating and memorable. Many thanks to him and the Museum. The Jorg Immendorf exhibition was absorbing and in general the displays were sensitively exhibited. A pleasant surprise shortly after entering the Museum was the inner garden which added an attractive extra dimension. I shall look forward to another visit when next in Madrid. It's a stunning gallery architecturally and internally well set out with a lack of crowding in terms of the art. It was a memorable experience.

Since I didn’t have much time the day I left Madrid, I decided to go to Reina Sofia Museum for 2 hours before I left. The ticket really made me to save times. By the time I arrived the museum, it was 10 am but the ticket line already looks long. But, I really didn’t need to be in the line as I have Skip-the-line ticket! Fantastic!!

The museum itself is laid out in a bit of a confusing way, but it was great to have a skip-the-line entry ticket and to just be able to walk in. A must-visit for modern art fans in Madrids!

Carlos was knowledgable and w effortlessly went from Spanish to English. Was very helpful getting us booked in a restaurant he recommended. Restaurant was excellent.

Getting your ticket prior to major attractions is an absolute must. It will save you a lot of wasted time standing in what can be very long queues.
